【用法】①hope作动词时，后能接不定式、that从句或介词for短语，不能接动名词，也不能接带有不定式的复合宾语。

②hope用于过去完成时，表示未实现的愿望或令人失望的事。如：I had hoped that he would become a doctor, but he wasn't good at science.我曾希望他成为医生，可他理科成绩不好。

③hope后面的宾语的省略形式，肯定句用so，否定句用not。
