adj.①有……价值 ②（指行动）值得 ③值得（费周折） ④拥有……价值的财产
【用法】
①worth+money表示”值……钱”。如：It is not worth two hundred pounds．
②worth doing意为”值得做……”，主动形式表被动意义，因此后面必须为及物动词，否则须加上合适的介词。如：The book is worth reading./Mary is worth waiting for.
【辨析】worth worthwhile worthy
【搭配】for all sb./it is worth竭尽全力 worth sb．'s while值得，对……有好处
