【用法】①that作指示代词时，替代上文提到的人或事物，既可替代单数名词，又可替代不可数名词，如：I have told you everything about the matter and that's all I know．that作关系代词时，可引导定语从句，如：The person that you spoke to just now is Lily's uncle.

②that作连词时，可引导主语从句．如：That he is a football player is known to us all.也可引导宾语从句，如：Everybody knows that he is a famous film star．也可引导表语从句，如：The factis that all of them have left work．也可引导同位语从句，如：There is no doubt that you are right．

③that还可作副词，相当于so，修饰形容词或副词，如：It wasn't that good．
